Pixelar 6" Firmware Updates
We recommend you make a back up of all of your current e-Reader content to your PC / Mac before updating any software.
Updating your Pixelar MReader is very easy - just follow the instructions below :
In order to guarantee the battery has enough power for update, please connect the device with the charger before start the update.
Step 1 : Download either of the updates listed below, by using Right Click > Save As....

Step 2 : Unzip / unpack the downloaded RAR file.
Step 3 : Please put the two qte and update kernel files downloaded, plus the Update tools Folder from Step 2 onto the root of a micro SD card, using the USB card reader provided.
Step 4 : Remove SD card from USB reader and insert into micro SD card slot at top of MReader.
Step 5 : Press reset on back of MReader.
Step 6 : Press power on button.
Step 7 : Follow instructions on screen... ie press power on button when asked to do so.
Step 8 : Wait until screen says 'Please reset and take out SD card' — do so.
Step 9 : Now delete from the micro SD card ONLY the 2 files plus Update Tools folder you downloaded to do the update.
Step 10 : Re-insert micro SD card into top of MReader.
Step 11 : Press Power on and you are good to go.
